Greetings. I am non-native Spock3.

As lessons were requested of me, I have recently established a timetable for the instruction of Vulcan meditative martial arts.

As such, I will be present in the Gymnasium for bi-weekly instruction of Ke-tarya1. I am also proficient in a'sum'i and suus mahna if there are any on board who desire knowledge of these forms, specifically2.

All who wish to attend or observe are welcome to do so.

1. See attached .data packet for dates and hours.
2. I am skilled in Terran and Andorian techniques as well, if one desires training or advisement in these areas.

Nice to meet you, Ms. Spock.

I'm one John Grimm, civilian aboard the Enterprise. I'm always looking to learn more about different combat styles. I would be honored if you would find the time to teach me a little about the Vulcan varieties that you are most comfortable with. If you have a spare moment, I'd be eager to learn some Andorian moves as well.

Anyways, feel free to contact me.

Commander Spock,

I hope I'm correct in assuming that you are a commander - I realize that these things aren't always consistent from one universe to another.

We haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting in person, so please allow me to first extend my warmest greetings and welcome you to the ship. I know how very difficult it can be to be displaced, so if there is anything I can do to help you feel more at home, do let me know.

I've never attempted to learn any form of martial arts, but the opportunity to take lessons in Ke-tarya sounds too interesting to pass up. I hope that my lack of experience won't be a problem.

I look forward to meeting you, Commander.

Christine Chapel

Greetings John Grimm.

You are more than welcome to attend and I will instruct you in whatever manner you request or require of me. If you wish to learn Andorian martial arts, I request that you come with proper padding as the deflection techniques are not as contained as with Vulcan and Human teachings.

I do not wish to risk injury.

Live long and prosper.

Ensign Chekov,

I currently find this plane of existence to be most fascinating. I believe I have coped with the shift in a reasonable fashion.

If you require or request instruction, I will readily oblige you. Please come prepared for mild to considerable jostling. I do not wish to risk injury in any I instruct.

Live long and prosper.

Christine Chapel, am I correct in presuming you are a Nurse?

I am in fact a Commander, though my rank holds little validity in this current plane of reality. I appreciate your welcome. If I require any aid in settling, it is comforting to know that you are willing to provide it.

A lack of previous training puts you at only a mild disadvantage. As Ke-tarya shares little but the most basic geometries with Human martial arts, you shall not be hindered by a lack of alternative training.

Please come prepared. Though it is unlikely you will be damaged in any fashion, at least in the most initial of learning phases, I do not wish to risk injury.

I anticipate our first lesson with interest, Ms. Chapel.

Live long and prosper.

Spock,

It's heartening to see you making yourself busy--which is not to imply at all that I think your current project is merely "busy work." In fact, I would be honored to be able to continue my training under your tutelage.

Spock,

You already know of my wishes to be instructed by you in the art of Ke-tarya. I look forward to learning the Andorian moves as well, since it has been years since anyone has taught them to me. You know I am quite free despite the occasional assignment.

Sincerely yours,
Winona Kirk

It would be most agreeable to have you within these sessions, James Kirk. Do you prefer Jim Kirk?

Winona,

As I have instructed John Grimm, above, please come prepared. The deflections of Andorian martial arts are not as easily contained. I do not wish harm to come to you inadvertently.

Likewise,
Spock

That's all right with me, Spock. Whatever you consider appropriate.

Spock,

Define proper padding though. Because I do have a bit of padding naturally in my body, but considering I'm quite sure you mean actual padding I'd like to know the proper kind.

Winona,

Indeed, I do not refer to the inherent padding present on the female form. Though, I would like to note, you do not have enough to classify it specifically as padding. Rather, I mean padding of a more substantial nature. Basic Starfleet Issue combative padding should suffice.

That's right, I'm Head Nurse on my Enterprise - here, just Nurse Chapel. I take it there's a Nurse Chapel in your universe as well?

Thank you for your assurances, Commander. I look forward to our lesson as well.

Commander Spock,

I can only hope that you have settled in sufficiently. As we have not had the opportunity to meet in person yet, I would very much enjoy attending these sessions in order to improve my skills and introduce myself.

If there's anything you require, feel free to let me know.

N. Uhura.

Spock,

Not even on my buttocks? I always thought that maybe I had a nice bottom, to hear that there isn't enough padding is a bit disheartening. And in that case, I shall be prepared with that padding.

Officer Uhura,

You are welcome to attend as you see fit, I anticipate our introduction with fascination. I do not require anything at this time, but I thank you for your consideration.

Winona,

In fact your posterior, upon examination, was quite well sculpted. The subcutaneous fatty tissue was minimal. I cannot speculate on the quality of the musculature, as I have not seen it first hand, but I suspect it is quite defined.

I thank you for bringing padding.

Spock,

I'm interested in learning some martial arts, but I have some delicate health considerations at the moment. How strenuous will your classes be? Will they involve contact sparring?

So you're saying you eyed my posterior and that you examined it enough to declare it well sculpted? Intriguing. Do you wish to experiment and see how the quality of it?

You are most welcome.

Tina Chapel? Fascinating.

Ms. Chapel,

If you would like, I can craft a gradual, non-combative, meditative regiment for you. I will outline it with you personally, to make certain that it is not in conflict with your current health considerations.
