De considered for a moment, trying to think of where would be a good place to look. "I'm not sure," he said, after a moment. "I don't know the ship very well, and, like I said, it's very large. She could be anywhere. She could be with her owner, or with someone else, or...anywhere really." De had the presense of mind at least, not to mention right now that the cat was owned by Spock. That would probably be difficult to explain, far more difficult than he thought he would be able to deal with.
He turned and looked around for a second. "That...computer thing might be able to help, d'you think?" he asked, pointing over in the direction of a console.
